Our season concludes with one of mankind's greatest romantic works of art, with two wonderful guest artists: Mezzo Soprano Layna Chianakas, a Peoria native, and Soprano Guiping Deng. This symphony, if any ever has, creates a world of its own, a thrilling and deeply moving sound-picture of the human condition. Its climax is a unique depiction of mankind's vision of the resurrection of the soul, lifting up performers and listenrs alike. My life has never been the same since encountering this work, perhaps neither will yours - come share this experience with all of us!
